The following is our monthly review of incidences

On May 9, 2013, the Mass

“Russian Obraz” Ilya Goryachev (born in Moscow
on May 30, 1982) in Belgrad.
On May 10, 2013, 31-year old Mikhail Volkov (Ed)
was arrested by the competent authorities of Ukraine. It was previously reported

On June 12, the day Russia commemorates its declaration of national
sovereignty in 1990, a general opposition rally in Moscow took place in
the form of a march leaving from Kaluga Square, heading down Bolshaya
Yakimanka Street and ending at Bolotnaya Square. Nationalist activists
were in attendance. Additionally, in the south-east Moscow district of Lublino, another
nationalist march 'For Legitimate Authority and Genuine Sovereignty' was
held on on Pererva Street. The event, organized by Andrei Savelyev's
Great Russia Party, was attended by (according to various estimates)
between 100 and 300 people.

Far-right groups organized two May Day
actions this year in Moscow, with both taking place on May 1, 2013.
The first was a mass procession beginning at
the Oktyabrskoe Polye Metro stop and ending at the Schukinskaya Metro stop
along Marshal Biruzov Street and the Marshal Vasilievsky Street. Based on
Sova’s observation, roughly 500 people attended. The action at Lublino under the name Russian
Spring, which was organized by the Russian Action Coalition was, predictably, much
smaller – about 150 people attended.

On 11 April 2013, the former
leader of Russian nationalist front “Pamyat”, former head of Moscow division of the “Russians” movement and
manager of the movement’s “court of honour”, Georgii Borovikov was arrested.
Together with Borovikov, two of his “comrades in arms” were also arrested,
Vladislav Bragin and Andrey Shishkanov. All three have been accused of
paragraphs “a” and “d” of the Part 2 of Article 161 (robbery with the use of
violence or the threat of violence, carried out as a group of persons with
prior intent). The date of the event in question was 6 June 2012 and the victim
was “comrade in arms” Artem Tomskii from Ulan-Ude.
