recognized 3 videos which call for violence against peoples from the Caucasus and
Central Asia as being extremist.
At the end of October 2013 in the city of Kostroma,
a resident was fined 120.000 rubles for publishing xenophobic commentary and
images on the website “Kostroma
Jedi”.

On October 13, 2013 mass riots erupted in the West Biryulyovo
district of Moscow. A crowd of local residents, including a group of football
fans and some members of a nationalist group, staged pogroms in the shopping
center “Biryuza” as well as at a vegetable warehouse. The violence was finally stopped
with a force of anti-riot police. The reason for the riot was the murder of
Egor Scherbakov by a person from the Caucasus or Central
Asia.
On September 15th
2013 in Saratov, members of a nationalist “people’s assembly” associated with
the activist group “Russian Joggers” organized what they called a “white tram”.

a monument to veterans of the Soviet war in Afghanistan
in the Saratov region town of Pugachev
for a rally against immigrants from the North Caucasus.
