Chronicle of Guilty Verdicts for Hate Motivated Violence. 2008
We publish the list of the guilty verdicts for violence issued in Russia in 2008 in which the hate motive was officially recognized. The list was made on the basis of the SOVA Center daily monitoring. In all, in 2008, we registered 33 guilty verdicts in 19 regions of Russia. Each entry is linked to Russian language SOVA reports.

Edited by Alexander Verkhovsky We released the English (shortened) version of Galina Kozhevnikova's book, :The Hate Speech in and out of the Election Campaign: The Media Monitoring: September 2003 - March 2004;. The study was carried out during the parliamentary and presidential electoral campaigns, which are also the special features of the book. The text is divided into three parts. We plan to publish soon the English version of a similar study concerning the 2007-2008 parliamentary and presidential campaigns.
