On 22 January 2014 the Tverskoy Regional Rourt canceled the decision of the Central District Court of Tver from 7 August 2013 concerning the labeling of the official site of the Jehovah’s Witnesses as extremist.

We remind the reader that the reason behind the Tverskoy district court’s inquiry was that the website contained phrases of text from previously banned Jehovah’s Witnesses brochures, such as “What does the Bible actually teach?”, “Draw near unto Jehovah”, “Come follow me”, and others.

We reaffirm that we consider the banning of such materials distributed by the Jehovah’s Witnesses as extremist to be unlawful.
